Director, Transition Expertise, 2013 – now

Executive coaching, team and leadership development.
Niche consultancy using the research findings from Executive Director Christopher Connolly’s PhD on transition expertise. Transition expertise is the ability to make transitions from one relatively stable position or situation to another. The transitions themselves can be unstable or unpredictable; handling this can require a special combination of abilities and skills: cognitive flexibility, environmental competence, and a judicious mix of personal and interpersonal skills.

Senior Consultant, Performance Consultants International, 2004 – now

Design and delivery of leadership and team development programmes, emotional intelligence and coaching training for leaders, managers and HR specialists in corporate, private and public sectors.

I have worked closely with PCI founder Sir John Whitmore over many years. Together, we designed and continue to deliver Transpersonal Coaching [Publications, 2006] based on the model of Psychosynthesis [download]. Transpersonal Coaching continues to be seen as the leading edge of coaching; its philosophy of empowerment and interdependence finds reinforcing parallels with the findings emerging from neuroscience and mindfulness studies.
